How long should an average student spend studying for the New Sat?

i took the Princeton Review SAT prep summer course right before i started senior year...its kinda helpful, but not really. there really is no point studying for the test. just take 1-2 practice exams, get a good nights rest and eat a candybar before you take the test.

I agree..PR was a waste of a $1000 and time...really pointless

In aggregate, studying is bad. SAT's and college entry are 0-sum games. If everyone is a genius, only the super-geniuses get in. If everyone's a retard, only the less retarded get in. Every kid who gets accepted is booting out another kid who would've gotten accepted. All studying does is waste time.

kill or be killed baby
You shouldn't care about anyone else (When it comes to tests, that is)

i’m like the typical case of a 1/2 week crammer just before the test. I managed to improve my practice scores from 2170 -> around 2250 just by doing 1 practice test every day.

WOA. How can you guys cram a FREAKIN’ FOUR hour TEST in a week? Gosh I admire you all. Maybe I’m the only looser who needs at least 4 months to learn the SAT here :((

I HATE ETS !!! CURSE THEM FOR CREATING THE SAT !!! CURSE THEM ~~~ *
