How long should the "strengths and talents" answer be?

The question “Consider your talents and strengths, academic and otherwise. What is one thing you do really well?” - how long should the answer be? If you look on the paper version of the application, it looks like they expect it to be much shorter than the 250 word essay questions. Will the online app let you submit a 250-word answer?

How about those 250 word essay questions. My daughter has edited one of her answers down to 327 words - is that too long? Does the online app cut it off at 250 words when you submit it?

She probably needs to call the admissions office and ask them, but if any of you happen to know the answer, that would be nice. Thanks!

Keep it at 250 or under. They will be handling an extremely large number of applications, and are more concerned about ACT/SAT, GPA and rank.

She can call the AD office and also do a chat session, they are always very helpful.

I would try to get it around 250.

I cannot remember if D sent in a paper application or did it all online. I'll ask her and see if she remembers.

Don't forget:

My answer was 3 words.

Mine was 3 too haha. I'm confident i can get in though. i wouldnt do that if u r on the border.

on the paper application, we only have four lines to answer that question, so probably only 1 or 2 sentences

Son completed the app online last night. I sat with him to review each page and I don't recall a " strengths and talents" question! Where is it? What page?
Thank you.

The question is on the last page of the application, right after the information about work experience

Thanks Mario! I found it. He did answer it. It's only 2 sentences, but a good response.
