<p>Well, he got like 70’s at Yale, which at the time were very good.</p>
<p>They may not have been great, but considering that grade inflation WAS a factor back then, they meant something. (Btw, they were better than John Kerry’s :)) And it was my father’s vouch, not my friend’s. So, I kinda trust it.</p>
<p>The reason I defended Bush was NOT because I agreed with him politically, or thought he was a good president. But, I just think that we should show a little bit of respect to our presidents. I mean, when Bush was president a lot of people called him “stupid” and “redneck.” Now we have Obama. A lot of people cal him “Hitler”, “socialist,” and a “wuss.” I just think that while we may not agree with presidents, or even think that they are making stupid decisions, we shouldn’t insult them personally. And this is my last post on this thread. I don’t want to hijack this thread and turn it into a political fight.</p>
