I plan on taking AP Bio, AP Calc BC, AP Stats, AP Chem, AP US History, AP Spanish, AP Macroeconomics, AP Government, AP Physics, AP Themes, and AP Pyschology over the course of my sophomore, junior, and senior year. Is that enough? (It's a total of 11)

There is no set number of APs you need. Once you get greater than around 7 aps colleges don’t care how many you took. You dont want to just take APs for your app, take them because you want to.

11 is more than enough. BS/MD programs really care to see if you have done stuff to show that you are passionate about medicine. Research (medicine related) and hands-on-experience working in a medical setting are necessities if you want to be competitive for a BS/MD spot.

Am I the only one that hasn’t heard of AP Themes?

@DigitalKing i haven’t heard of it until this forum. It’s a pilot ap program that involves research…

@guineagirl96 Thanks, I didn’t know that!
