I’m looking at about 10 AP’s and 1 college class completed (MVC) by the time I graduate. I have a question though: the only AP class that I had the option of taking but chose not to was AP US history. I took 2 in 10th grade, 4 right now (junior), and 5 next year. Will this be perceived negatively? APUSH is supposed to be killer at my HS and the older kids advised me against it.

Nah, I doubt it. If your other APs were fairly well rounded (you took some history, some math, some science, etc.) you should be fine.

Everyone I know who got into Harvard took many advanced classes. However, even more importantly they showed outstanding leadership of some sort or won a prestigious award.
