<p>I definitely agree that engineering is probably the hardest major in college. Yes, it differs from individual to individual of course, some people hate doing physics, others love it. But the fact remains that engineering majors spend A LOT more time studying than students studying in the social sciences. Just look at the school where the average student spends the most time studying (I think according Princeton Review or something?) - CalTech. AND if you look at average GPA by departments, engineering is usually lower than other departments, at least I know that is a fact in my school.</p>

<p>You can pretty much do as many as you want, if you plan on being around 30 when you finish your undergrad. I’ve only heard of someone doing a double-major plus a minor. Of course, he hasn’t graduated yet, and I do not know when he is going to.</p>
