Just wondering on average how many people take.

I'm guessing you guys take advantage for the breaks, but if different when do you take them?

24 ish. 20 under realistic conditions, the others were taken a few sections at a time. However, 24 is towards the upper end of how many people take.

3 practice tests total. I’m not even making this number up. One from the Blue Book, one from a test-prep center for a contest, and one as part of the pre-registration stuff for Elite.

Scores are as follows:
Contest SAT: 2020
Elite SAT: 1890
BB SAT: 2350
Actual SAT: 2280

It is different from test to test. I felt much more relaxed when taking the practice test because I did it at my desk and used the extra time between tests to surf the net. But not all practice tests are built the same way. Clearly there’s a major discrepancy between my test-prep SAT scores and my actual/BB scores.

I took about 20 practice tests, and got a 2360. Practice tests are, by far, the best way to prepare for the SAT.

Where are you guys getting more than the 10 in the blue book?

Freshman PSAT
Sophomore PSAT
2 PSATs with a prep course
PSAT you get with registering
Junior PSAT
BB SAT 1
December 3 SAT

Yes I’m counting PSATs because the questions are exactly the same. And I’ll probably take the last 9 BB SATs before I take the May SAT, which will hopefully be my last.

Sophomore PSAT (Legit)
Junior PSAT (Legit)
Nov. 5 SAT (Legit)

~25 SAT tests (BB and others)
~10 PSAT tests (Gruber’s and others)
~15 ACT tests (Red Book and others)
