I know that 3 subject scores are required, but if you did take more than 3, would they also look at the others? If they only look at three, which three? Plus, if I got a score on a subject that was not that great, would it lower my chances of getting accepted? Should I just take 3 subjects or as many as I can? Please help. Thank you!

They will take your best three and disregard the others.

This is just my opinion but I don’t think that I would try for the “as many as I can”. I’m sure that if you take 10 tests and only do well on three with the rest low then, even though Harvard will say that they are only looking at the top three, it may be hard for them to ignore the low scores. I think you want a balance between quantity and quality.

Unless you are a homeschooler trying to prove you’ve covered the high school curriculum - Harvard will only look at your top three scores.
