<p>Has anyone submitted (or considered submitting) more than one teacher recommendation? How many if more than 1? </p>

<p>I believe only one is required, but you will find that a substantial number of applicants submit two.
As a general rule, I would avoid submitting more than two teacher recs unless there is a compelling reason to do so.</p>
<p>I had a similar question, because I have 3 teachers writing recs (1 English, 1 History, 1 Math) and I just love all the teachers. So I asked my College Counselor who is a former admissions officer at a prestigious college. They said that 3 is fine, and if the Adcom thinks that 3 is too many, they just won’t read one or two of them. No big if all three are really good.</p>
