How many time, nowadays, are people taking the SAT? Can colleges see how many times?

just like the title asks

Students usually take it 2-3 times. Anything over that is frowned upon by colleges that dont use Score Choice (ie colleges that request to see all of your scores)

Colleges can see all of your scores in 2 situations: 1) if you choose to send your score to the college or 2) if your high school has a policy of listing all test scores on your transcript.

 1. College does not participate in score choice and requires all scores be sent.
