How messy is your house?

I want to know, because my house is extremely dirty, to the point where I never invite anyone over. If you guys have clean houses, who cleans it?

mom/dad and cleaning ladies

Not dirty, but cluttered.

It’s disgusting. I refuse to have people over–except for this one kid from my history class. The right side of our sink has mold in it. Do not, I repeat do not, ever step into the hallway bathroom here. You won’t be able to smell after that. I don’t use that bathroom anymore.

I refuse to clean now. I use to do all the cleaning, but no one kept it clean, so I said screw it.

Mine is not dirty or cluttered. My mom is very particular about things being neat, so my dad usually plays along with that. Plus we have a cleaning lady come once a week.

@ musicallylatin: haha that sounds like our house. In my bathroom, the mold ate through the metal part of the faucet!

^ If would on ours except our sink doesn’t work and no one will fix it/pay to get it fixed. (I have no idea how, and don’t have any money. I’m begging for a five dollar book today.)

Uhg shudders…that sink. I live with a pig. The sink doesn’t work, yet she still spits tobacco filled spit into it. It’s disgusting. The shower is filled with cigarette butts. Uhg. It just make me want to vomit. There is a layer of scum on the floor.

^ that sounds awful…
For my house, most of its just clutter, (books, clothes, stray papers), but some of the parts are awful, especially the kitchen! You’re more likely to find rotting food then anything edible. Our house is dusty as well. I think I house should be declared a health hazard or something. And the worst thing is, it used to be sparkling clean. The last couple years though, it’s just been…ughh.

Ya, my house collects dust like nothing else. I use two tubas. One I keep at home the other I keep at school. This is the first year I’ve done this. Last year dust would never collect on the un-used tuba that was on the top shelf in the percussion closet. Now that it’s at my house it’ll be caked in an inch of dust and I actually use it! I went to grab Captain Crunch today, and I had to wipe down the box for fear I’d get dust in my food.

The sad thing is I’m starting to think I’m mildly OCD, so this is really starting to kill me. lol

It’s not.

My parents are neat freaks.

Our house is actually ridiculously clean. It’s kind of funny because a lot of my friends feel uncomfortable in our house because it’s so clean. Like a lot of mothers, my mom is super organized and a complete neat freak.

She doesn’t clean though; we have a cleaning lady who comes twice a week for a few hours.

My house looks clean because we have brown floors

My house is not dirty because we have floors and it’s easy to clean. However it’s really dusty and my cousin has his crap all over the place. I pretty much pick up after everyone in the house but sometimes I’m lazy XD. My rooms a different story; neat on the outside but a clothes avalanche on the inside my closet. I hate when people come over unless they’re my Asian relatives because they wouldnt really care. I NEVER have school friends over.

The house is overall clean, with the occasional clutter. But usually the bathrooms get dirty pretty fast (guests, my younger brother) and my room is filled with clutter, clothing and papers which are spread all over my desk, floor, closet and some on top of my bed.I just “cleaned” it out today–I just stuffed all my papers and clutter into my drawers/cabinets.lol.

My house is clean. We barley have any guest, yet my mom vacuums almost every two days, which is so annoying. I don’t like the sound. However, my room is a different story.

Wow, I didn’t realize how messy everyone else’s house was. My house is very clean compared to what is being described here, but not to the point where it is uncomfortable. We keep the kitchen clean, there’s never any old food in the fridge/cabinets. My favorite room is the living room because nobody ever goes in there and it’s always perfectly neat. Except the carpet in our finished basement is kinda mildewy.

My house is super clean. My parents are both extreme neat-freaks, so I have been raised that way as well, but I’m less neat. I’ve been actually charged for having clothes under my bed or dishes in my room. Only a 50 cents or a dollar, but still, lol. It’s weird how my house is very neat, but if you want to find anything, it’s very hard, considering my mom is usually the one who puts things away, and I can’t find anything without asking her, and it’s pretty bad if she forgets where she put something.

My house is clean; my mom dusts and/or vacuums pretty frequently. She doesn’t clean my room, so that’s generally messier than the rest of the house. Not that it’s really bad or anything, just dusty and a bit unkempt. But I don’t mind it.

I have a clean house. My brothers and I have relativley clean rooms. They don’t get messy, but do get cluttered. I usually spread my homework around the room, so its cluttered but clean.
