not a penny, and my dad isn't giving a penny either, I'll be banking money off of my scholarships, which is why I turned down anything "prestigious" to make money and buy a mercedes when I graduate with all the money I'll have saved ;-)

0 first year. The three years after will depend on the renewable scholarships I'm waiting to hear from in the upcoming weeks.

Im not really sure how the PLUS loan works out for students (thats a big one im factoring into this 75k)....but I dont see my 75k as it being that bad...the student loans im taking out dont have a prepayment penalty, and I do plan on co-oping two semesters, which will hopefully take a chunk outta the debt.

Unfortunately I'm good enough to get into the schools I applied to, but not good enough to get a nice merit scholarship....or poor enough to get a need based scholarship

$0. My parents are paying for everything, and I got a small scholarship for this year (it was about time!!).

I am guessing somewhere around 25-30K. It would be a bit higher, but I will try to save a couple grand from summer jobs. My parents are paying for things like groceries, laundry, supplies, etc, so I can save a little that way.

How much is college actually costing for you guys and the peeps with $0 debt is that due to fin. aide or possibly state schools??

I'm prob 50k! :x

So how is Princeton's FA?

My tuition plus room and board is about 32K and I got really really good FA from the school (21K) the rest was all local and fed govt paying and one loan of 2600. I was ****ed. Couldn't they find 2600 more dollars to give me?

It was 0 for undergrad.

About 155k for medical school...ouch

15 thousand for undergrad (hopefully)

probably aroud $75-100k because my stupid mother's husband makes too much money for me to quality for any financial aid and he refuses to help with my tuition. Oh yeah plus Law School. sigh

why don't you put the schools you go to because we can't get an idea of anything.

Assuming the Fin-Aid stays within the same range as I'm getting now (which the FA officer at Fordham said is more than likely going to happen so long as grades and income stay the same) then I'll be left to pay off about $10k-15k after 4 years in loans. And I've already discussed things with my mom and she plans on saving her Income tax refunds each year until I graduate so I can pay off the loans right away. So technically I won't be paying much of anything.

I'll be at WPI next year which costs somewhere around $44,000/year.
I'll probably come out of there with around 40k in debt.

I'll be at Columbia but thanks to outside scholarship no debt!!

Its 29k/yr for Georgia Tech
Ill be out with about 70-75k debt.

I know it seems alot for GT, but MD gave me absolutely nothing, and Texas only gave me $3000/yr. GT gave me 10k

Hey guys can you recommend me a decent engineering school that meets the following criteria
1)offers decent scholarships
2)in a warm place (throughout the year!!!)
I am looking to transfer to UVa/GaTech/UCLA/UT Austin...any suggestions or advice is welcome.

Texas is ALWAYS hot. There is only one season: Summer.

I live in Texas, I'd know. ;-)

36k/yr. 18k of my 31k scholarship is a need-based scholarship type thing so Im hoping the school doesnt screw me over and turn everything into loans or something of that sort

Probably somewhere around $40,000.
College costs $42,000/year. After FA and parents contribution, I will pay about $10,000/year.
