<p>You will get a variety of answers based on students’ personal spending preferences and their meal plan selections. Upperclassmen with fewer meals selected on meal plan have larger cash needs. Slipstream’s answer is not unreasonable if you have a limited meal plan and buy groceries/off campus meals and if you have an active social life. You can get by on less and if you are a clotheshorse, you may need much more!</p>

<p>fraternities are about 2K a year, kind of expensive, for personal expenses, you could be ok with 200 a month, but it really could be less or more depending on you, if you only use meal plan you could easily cut that in half</p>
