Just read the title.

It will vary depending on your year in school. For independent undergrads, Staffords are $9,500 for freshmen, $10,500 for sophomores, $12,500 for 3rd year and up, with an aggregate limit of $57,500. If the school offers Perkins loans, there is a possibility of those also, but the school has limited Perkins funds and would set the maximum and criteria themselves.

The actual loan amounts will also be limited by the school’s COA less any other aid/scholarships. (Total aid, including loans, cannot exceed the COA of the school).

Swimcat is right…

You’d get 5550 in Pell (if you qualify)

9500 in Direct loans…maybe some Perkins.

But…are you applying to a school within your state? If so, does your state give grants as well?
