How much do A.P. test scores matter?

How much does Vandy look at them? I have heard some colleges ignore them while others take a nice look at them. And, would it be better to have 10 (2's and 3's) or 5 (4's and 5's)? Thanks for any input.

Definitely five 5's and 4's. That means you can learn and think at a college level. Getting 2's and 3's on a bazillion APs means you're just trying to fluff up your transcript, and that you didn't do the work to perform at a college level.

Though, I don't know how much weight Vandy puts on them. I do know that they DO look at them, though.

Ok that's good for me. My school only offers a limited number of A.P. classes so the most I'll be able to take is probably 6. 5 seems more likely. But, I think I will do very well in them because my school makes A.P. classes exclusive. And its good to hear they at least look at them.
