How much do SAT IIs Matter?

Scheduled to take US History, Math II and Literature on Saturday. This is the last date accepted and I believe my scores will have to be sent automatically. Quick questions:

  1. Would I indeed need to send my scores automatically as I suspect, or I would I have time to wait to see what I get and then send? Penn's last accepted date, per their website, is this November but I don't know if I'd need to auto-send or not and would prefer not to.
  2. How much would not sending SAT II scores, or just sending one, make a difference?

Do not be fooled by the fact that they are “optional”. Penn admissions has explicitly said they have found the subject tests to be quite valuable in assessing an applicant. Here is the relevant announcement by the Admissions Office.

"In addition to no longer requiring the essay, Penn is moving to recommend that students submit two SAT Subject Tests regardless of whether they submit the ACT or SAT.
“This change reflects our research that shows that, when considered in the full context of the application, the SAT Subject Tests are strong predictors of performance at Penn,” said Romero Da Silva. “For many students the Subject Tests allow them to showcase areas of academic strength by subject matter which is something we value.”

I have the same question as well!

I got an 800 in math 2 but only 670 in literature. Should I bother sending the literature score in? Right now only math 2 is sent.

@LetsGoOnCC @Penn95 @doorrealthe i applied to wharton ED submitted only the math 2 sat subject test with a score of a 700. Then got a 800 on the novemember testing and sent that in as well however didnt get my score back until about 1.5 weeks before decisions came out so dont know if they even saw the score when they were makig the decision. Still got accepted ED. For wharton the math subject test is most importsnt
