It honestly depends which colleges you are looking at @Derpthulu . What colleges or universities are you looking at?

For me, I’d say I am a perfectionist, so I am automatically going for 800. 700-800 range is also good, but its best to get a perfect score, and the exam you get a perfect score on really matters! For Top 40 schools, F^&# yeah they matter. Assuming everything else is good, these could be the difference of acceptance and could be that push your app needs.
I’m absolutely sure that above a certain threshold, they don’t see a difference. I’m less sure where that threshold is – maybe 700? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a little higher for popular tests like Math II.
