My computer is my best friend. Every week, I type thousands of words. I type notes, essays, homework, etc. I have thousands of Word files littering my computer. I wonder how many words I have typed using my keyboard. Probably a million ... I <3 my ergonomic keyboard :).

For example, I just typed a huge study outline. The outline is exactly 3,100 words :o! I make multiple outlines like this one every week for pretty much all my classes.

I also use the computer for entertainment, but that's something I don't like to acknowledge ;).

My computer is indispensable. I cannot imagine writing out 3,100 words. That would take me forever. I also cannot imagine doing research in the library - I <3 Google.

So - how much do you rely on your computer?

I <3 my computer. It got sick last week and I fed it some chicken noodle soup. Then I wiped the chicken noodle soup out of the CD drive and ran some virus scanners. It’s back to normal. :)

Do you guys ever notice how your keyboard keys lose their texture over time?

My keyboard keys used to have a noticeable texture, but the texture has long since disappeared. My space bar has also lost part of its texture. The sides of my space bar, however, retain their texture because I only hit the center of the space bar.

I heart my computer so much. I can’t always get to the library so I use google for all my research. None of my teachers allow us to write papers by hand so I must use the computer. I also do the everyday computer uses. Like social networking like facebook, tumblr, and twitter.

My computer is ESSENTIAL to my life! I use it to study vocab on Quizlet, to make bibliographies on Bibme, to keep in touch on Facebook, to apply to colleges, to do my essays, to check my grades, to check my homework, I NEED IT DESPERATELY!

If my computer crashed, I would be seriously screwed.

Since starting my sophomore year way too much. I remember how my printer malfunctioned early in the year and how it nearly screwed me over. I’ll hate to imagine what would happen if my computer crash. Thank you, AP Courses.

Though, it has made me realize how much I’ll need a computer in college.
