How much does being an Immigrant help?

HHAHAHA no no. you will be considered as domestic actually. i dont have my greencard YET so for people like me so dont worry. you are all good and set. i thought you didnt have greencard yet.

wow 12 years and no greencard LOL

ok ok, wheew... well, i'm thinking about going to england anyways:)
where are you from?

Who's not an immigrant these days :) ? I'm an immigrant... and the immigration/adaptation/assimilation essay is the most commonly used topic in college applications.

yeah i know man. i should have started the process a long time ago but anyways i have my ins interview later this year so its all good.

i think there is a bit difference between 13/12 years of immigration and 4/5 years of immigration XD

If you genuinely feel that way, then by all means do so... but speaking from experience, other topics, especially of more uncommon experiences tend to have a greater impact with college admission boards. We're here to help you out and advise you, not attack your choices. In the end, its still up to you. :)

im an immigrant too.this is only my third year to come to the us. is the longer time i have come here, the less it's going to help me?
