Does scoring a 2400 really give you leverage over say, 2300s, for admission to top schools (Ivys, new Ivys...)?
Is there some kind of quota for acceptance?
I've heard many people say, if you get a 2400 (and have a decent amount of ECs, good grades), you're a sure shot for top schools.

Basically what I'm asking is, do you think the 2400 overrated?

From the admissions people I have talked to once you have scored like a 2300 it is all the same. So basically the 2400 is overrated, just an overall high score is important.
