Some time ago, I came across Zillow, a site that gives real estate appraisals. It's pretty neat. Just type in a home address and it returns an estimate.

My house isn't on there, nor are any houses in my town on there.

It did not work for me, but I know the answer anyways. The price is anywhere between 300,000 and 500,000. I say that in that it is not a huge house(3 bedroom, one bathroom), but it does have a yrad and it's location is ideal, meaning inbetween Washington and more southern Cities to work.

My house is worth, $1,754,000. That isn't true though, my house is worth $2,???,??? from what my parents told me.

^ Dude, that is awesome. I wish my family could afford nice houses. OH well, I have big dreams that include a big house, so I am not complaining.

500,000-600,000

It's actually on the market right now, because my parents are selling. And I'm kind of obsessed with real estate/architecture, so it works out quite well. But it is a buyer's market right now...

There are no words that properly voice my disgust with the fact that this thread exists. >.>

Lower middle class!

$119,000. My old house, that is. It was large for the neighborhood, which is basically the whole town, and it was even cheaper when we bought it because after a messy divorce, the old owners were desperate ($90,000, anyone?). We moved recently, and my mom's boyfriend built his house. It's worth $142,000, but they didn't include his land- he has a crapload.

$448,000, but that's low according to what realtors have told us. We could get half a million EASILY because of the location (good neighborhood, near lots of schools) and the size (larger than most houses in our area).

Even though my house isn't on there, it's valued at $120,000. It's very easy to buy a nice house for $85,000 here. My house is three bedrooms, two bathrooms, with a two car garage and a half acre of land.

2 bdr condo, $225 000. That came from my head, not the site.

It says it's worth $963,500. But I don't know if that's correct.

mine's not on there, but the house itself is smallish and nearly falling apart (i live in a jungle lol). the property is worth a ton though. not sure of exact numbers. too bad we don't own it!

$407,000 for a split-level, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in a northern Chicago suburb.

rmadden15: My dad is a pharmacist and he owns 3 stores in the city. Makes a good profit off them which is why I guess I'm considered upper class.

Wow. Apparently our home is $432.5K...but we live in NY suburbs less than half an hour form the city sans traffic. Well considering the area we live in, I'd say we're still pretty poor.

We should just sell it all and buy a mansion in Wyoming.

Oh come on, we're not judging anyone. Even if we were, this is a refreshing alternative to GPA and SATs.

(In Zimbabwe dollars)

$267,500. It's a 3 bed, 2.5 bath 2-story townhouse in a western Washington suburb.

We don't own it though, we're just renting. The owner wants to sell it to us though.
