1.1 mil in chicago.

ouch histronic

JT, does the house have a bathroom with a weird configuration? In some houses, the bathroom has a main room with a sink and a shower, and then a toilet in a separate room, maybe the size of a closet. A real estate company might count that as 1.25 bathrooms. I don't know.

I just asked her and she said yeah, that's it! Thank you for clearing up this terrible conundrum.

$903,000

cool

but you would think I have a mansion... nope

thats what you get for living on Long Island. Your average house, 4 bedroom, 30,000 sq. ft lot, pool. I know people in like Texas who have houses twice the size of mine , and half the price.

Ours is a mere $240k, mostly because the real estate market is currently in shambles.

It's a 5 bedroom + office though, and pretty nice and, erm, luxurious, I guess.

we should list the house price(s) AND location(s) because its obvious that regional differences will affect the cost.

my parents have a couple of apartments in korea worth like few million all together. i just found out from my brother in law who visited my dad in kroea and my parents never tell me things like that. we also have a house worth about 1 mil, another worth about 700-800k, and another in the low 200k range all located in SoCal. actually though i dont think its ours because my sister tells me the houses are actually the banks'.

3 bed, 2 bath. 1307 sq. ft.

$186,000 lol

but our house is on an acre of property

^ by the way is your house flooded?

3 bed, 2 baths, sunrooom, etc. 1800 sq. ft

Around 615k

A lot of you with much cheaper houses probably have significantly higher incomes/quality of life. 615k means nothing where I live. Lily's numbers are much more accurate. I live in Westchester, NY. (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment under 600 sq ft is rented for about $1100-2100 monthly)

Nope, we're on high ground. :)

No house in our neighborhood is flooded (well, from what I have seen). But I live in central/north Brevard County...not as bad as south Brevard.
