I filled out my application over a month ago to a school and i still have heard nothing. Should i just assume that i was rejected?

I assume this is a rolling admissions school?

If you are denied (sounds better don't you think?), they will let you know. They won't leave you hanging!

You could always call the college and see how long they usually take for a decision. My kids' safeties were rolling admissions and it took about 6-8 weeks to hear. But they applied in the fall. This time of year it might take a little longer ...

It is getting so late now, that i feel like i have no chance anymore.

Since you are feeling so bad, I definitely would advise calling. You will at least know if they have decided or when they will.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you ...

If it isn't rolling admissions:

The universal decision date is April 1st. Some colleges make a real point of not giving out decisions before that date, but it not uncommon for decisions to be mailed a week earlier.
