Just a quick question: don't get me wrong, im no too bad at math, i just find it useless. So... how much math do you have to do in a reg. pre-med, say UCI? I'm currently in my first semester of calculus, so I plan to take part B too. After that, I heard you only need to take multi-variable, and maybe stat. Is this true?

You ABSOLUTELY need stats. Every journal article you read (and you'll read a great many as a medical student, resident and practicing physician) is going to use stats to demonstrate the importance of the findings. If you go onto a fellowship after residency, many require research - and while you may have access to a biostatistician, you'll need to have some rudimentary understanding of the analysis technique.

You only need a semester of calc for the overwhelming majority of medical schools. However, your college major (say if you are a chemistry or physics major) may require more than just a semester.
