How much will transfer GPA affect Masters admission?

Aiming for an applied math Masters at a top 20 school. My transfer GPA is 2.75 (it was actually 3.3 when I transferred, but I guess they didn't accept all my credits), so when I graduate next year my overall GPA should be between 3.0-3.2. My Institution GPA will be somewhere between 3.4-3.7 though (most likely 3.5). I heard some schools only look at your latest 60 credits (which happen to all be from my current school), so will my overall or institution GPA have more weight? Will my transfer GPA have that much weight at all?

I should also be solid with research and LOR.

I think the last years have more weight.

Also from what I’ve gather it’s not the total GPA but rather the grades that you get from the advanced courses. Like having a 3.0, it could be having 2 Bs or having 1 A and 1 C. There is a big difference.
