KarmaFairy, I'm not trying to doubt you here, but a .8!!! I really don't know if this is even possible without death. A .3 is allegedly coma level, but maybe if you build up your tolerance it's possible, but a .8 is pretty crazy, that means that nearly 1 percent of your blood is pure alcohol.

Heh, if you show up and no one else is there, then something weird is probably going on. I've heard of that before, be honored.

hermionie- yeah, it happens sometimes- it's more of a "tradition for a professor" than a "tradition for a school"...

One of my friends' prof's has a thing where part of your grade is going to dinner with him and his wife, so he can get to know all the students.

Meateater, .4 is lethal to 50% of people. I think the reliability of the measuring instrument was very questionable in my mother's case; the results of her breathalyzer were .8, but the results might not have been accurate. Also, a .3 is conscious, but not lucid. I think .35 crosses the line for what you describe as "coma level." You were close, though - I had to look it up.

nm
wrong post

.8 is definitely impossible but i get the point..... i took my SAT's the day after being wasted at prom and i still got a 2000, its easy to party and get through high school my grades have actually went up since i started partying a lot

i digress, sometimes you do better work when you're high/drunk. however, over time it gets exhausting, particularly drinking.
