I just wonder due to some of the questions and answers if anyone on here ever parties or drink or anything lol
Yes although I generally hate frat parties.
I do. I used to party a lot my second semester of freshman year with frat parties and stuff. But now I’m 21 and more chill with my drinking and going out.
Nope. It’s not really my thing, and even if it was, I’m not old enough to drink.
No. I’m a commuter and I mostly just go the academic buildings (form which the dorms are a mile away), so it hasn’t been on my radar at all.
I work at a place that plans birthday parties. So in a way, you could say I party all day every day
I do, but it really depends. I’m a non-traditional student (I’m 28), so that changes things a bit. I got all of my partying done when I was younger and not in school…lol
I still do a little bit, but you’re not going to find me at some meat-head, jock filled frat party.
Typical parties are boring as a non-drinker–it’s always a random what the heck is going on scene where you might have good conversations in a different room or outside. The good stuff is when you bring out the strategy games and/or Smash Bros or just talk and share stories. Checking the Yik-Yak so many people always looking for parties which I do not understand
I gotta agree with @tangentline on this one. I love talking to people and I am not one to shy away from busting out dance moves either, but I never saw the appeal of doing so while one was drunk. It’s clear people aren’t in their normal mental state and might not even remember it afterwards… plus the hangover… ugh. I went to one frat party and decided I was done after that
LOL, I always wonder this myself, since it seems like half the questions in CS&S are from HS seniors who want a school that doesn’t party at all because they don’t drink or party, and a lot of the questions here are people having problems with the party culture.
I’m out of college now but when I was in college I loved to party. I was pretty work hard/play hard. You can remember it all afterwards; you don’t always have to get so drunk you can’t remember anything (and you have to be really drunk to be at the memory loss point).
Work hard, play hard.

Well I’m a senior in High School and I don’t really go to all that many parties mostly because I dislike people at my school but I really am looking forward to getting to meet new people at college and hopefully go to a lot of parties. I am worried that if I have to go to Community college to start for financial reasons I won’t get that aspect.
Y’know this triangle?
I usually choose sleep + grades. I can't function without a good 10 hours a night (including occasional naps.) LOL.10 hours is a lot!!! I can do all three pretty well. I only need 6/7 hours to fully function for a day (including work!) and I partied a good amount, and I finished off the semester with a 3.7
@preamble1776 How did you do that? That’s the first time I’ve seen images inserted on a thread on College Confidential

But instead of { } use [ ]
@shawnspencer
I party sometimes but not all the time. I smoke and drink but it’s only if I’m in the mood for it. Otherwise I could care less. I feel like it’s something about college that drives you to drink and smoke. Idk what it is.
