Is this true? My son is applying to TCU and is hoping to get in....but he is not really a preppy kid at all.</p>
<p>I did not find TCU to be terribly preppy at all. I guess there are different levels of preppiness and my experience has been more in the NE and SE, where I think there is WAY more preppiness than I’ve seen anywhere in TX! I don’t think this should be a factor for anyone at all anyway. What does that word even mean to you? The colors of clothing? A way of acting? People love to label colleges but I really think TCU, like most other places, has all different sorts of people. It does seem to have a strong Greek presence, but I don’t equate that necessarily with preppiness. With 7500-8000 students, there will be people like you, no matter what you are like!</p>
