im not a religious person,so im worried about that
can anyone tell me how religious the school is?
and how's the communication major in the school
thank you!

I don’t mean to be rude, but there’s literally a thread on the exact same subject on this page already, and even more if you just used the search engine.

But to answer your question, Fordham is pretty moderate. Just a little over half students identify as Catholic, but a lot are pretty liberal. And you have to fufill a theology requirement, but it’s not a “Jesus is God” kind of thing, but rather, just learning about studying various religions and their impact on the world and stuff… Non-religious people won’t feel out of place. I don’t know anything about their communications dept though.

check out this prior thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/fordham-university/571858-does-religion-matter.html

so religious
you have to pray for 5 hours each night
it counts towards your gpa

disregard the last comment. this school does not force anyone to pray nor does it count it toward your gpa. read the thread by jptmom. also do a search on the forum as this question has been asked before i believe. the bottom line is that this school forces you to take two theology courses but only so that you can learn about religion(s). they do not make you go to mass, nor do they expect to convert you. if you don’t care for religion at all, then you will barely have to deal with it because it’s very avoidable even on this campus. you can even talk to the jesuits and priests without problems. some of them are pretty cool.
