I know i've posted a similar thread before, but i was left with many uncertainties that i just don't feel comfortable with so i really need help from those who have experience with schedules like these. Im an upcoming junior with very little Ec's, which i am starting to care about much more than i've ever had.

Junior Year future schedule:
H Us History
H Math Analysis if i dont take it over the summer, which i highly doubt.
Ap Art History
AP English Lang
Ap Spanish
Ap chem, already took the honors class so it should go good
Ap Physics C Mechanics
If I do take Math Analysis; how rigourous and manageable will my schedule be if i take Ap Calculus BC.

Also ive developed an addiction for playing chess and my rating has gone really high online ever since, so maybe starting a chess club should be good for me. Alsome and my
friend want to start a sports journalism club, where we make articles of our schools sports and publish it. The only problem is that our school does not have a journalism club; therefore if we want to publish we also need to start the club to actually have newspapers to publish. With all this, how manageable will this year be and is it really that rigorous?

I can only tell you about AP Art History, AP English Lang, and math analysis (not honors).
I really hope you are not just picking these classes just to impress colleges (what really impresses them is going to be your personal essay, not your grades or your classes). Anyway, if you’re truly interested in art history, then you’ll have an easier time memorizing, because you’ll have to learn and memorize many art movements, artists and their artworks, and vocab.
AP English Lang helps if you are already a good writer and at analyzing literature regardless of how boring, old, or interesting it is. The only hw you may get is just take home essays (that’s what I had), and maybe reading depending on if your class will read books together.
For me, there was a big gap between algebra II and math analysis. You’ll learn a lot of concepts (that’s in my opinion) in math analysis. I hope you’re good in math, but I promise you it’s not a hard class.

I can’t comment on your idea of starting a journalism club and newspaper; however, I already mentioned this earlier but when applying to colleges, they really pay attention to your personal essay.

My only advice is to stock up on coffee.

If you’re on a block schedule then this is definitely manageable. If you’re on a period schedule, good luck.

Thanks i will stock on some energy drinks. deTURMANed Im on a block schedule so if i can trust your words i should be able to manage;especially when there is an Ap class on my schedule that should not be hard. That class is Ap Spanish. Im a native speaker, who already knows the language pretty well. Also has anyone here taken Ap calculus Ab and BC and knows the curriculum for both of these classes well enough to be able to estimate the difference in the amount of time im going to spend if i choose to take BC.
