I was just wondering how safe should one's safties be, obviously they have to be schools at which you have a good chance and are affordable, but for someone who will need full financial aid regardless of how cheap a school is (for example, I would require financial aid even if I went to a community college) should the school be dirt cheap, as how much aid a person receives is rather unpredictable?
I had planned to make college of Idaho my safety as my SATs are in the upper/above 50% rannge (I have an 1830 but I plan on rigorously studying and retaking th SAT anyway) and a decent number of kids from my HS are accepted/go there (and I do beleive my academics are better than many that do). So should I just stick with them or should I aim lower, however, no other in-state schools hold any interest for me...

Thanks for reading my longwinded post.
