Hi everyone!
I was wondering how short your responses were for the questions part of the application?
No word limits were given, so I'm kinda conflicted on how much I should write!

Thank you!

Have mercy on these AO’s who have to read hundreds of applications. Don’t make it any longer than necessary to make your point.

With all due respect to GMT, I’m inclined to disagree. If the AO’s are interested in you, they will want to know more. If they are really interested in you, they will read every word you’ve written. If you’ve not written much, they get a much narrower picture.

If you’ve written a lot and they aren’t interested, they’re probably not going to read it all anyway.

good luck!

You can look at some other applications to get ideas. Short answers for some schools were in the 150 word range. Long essays were 350 at one school, 200-400 at another, no more than 500 at a third.

I thought the OP was referring to non-essay questions, because as far as I can remember, all the essay questions had word limits.

What type of “questions” are you referring to, jwla06?
