I'm going to be taking the October SAT. I've taken the SAT once, which was last july. I earned the following scores, having only taken a practice test the day before the real test, without any prior studying:

Math: 660
Writing: 640
Reading: 580

I had taken 4 AP classes the year prior to the test which I believe is what helped me to get a decent score without studying. Anyways, my goal is at least a 2100. It seems to me that have two options. From what I'm understanding, math and writing are straight forward sections in which practice/studying is simple and will improve the score easily, while reading is the most time consuming to study for, and isn't as straightforward.

My question is, should I devote the next 3 weeks primarily towards perfecting my Math and Writing scores, or should I balance the 3 sections? I feel if I practice enough, I can get at least 100 points more on both math and writing, but I'm not positive. What do you guys think would be safest? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!

While it may be worthwhile to concentrate more time on math and writing, getting familiar with the types of questions they ask in reading comprehension will allow you to do better on the test. I would advise you to do some practice in Reading comp as well; although the reading skills can not be taught in three weeks, you will get familiar with the types of questions they are asking and the answers they are looking for. I think maybe you should divide your time 40% Math, 40% Writing, and 20% Reading. Also, since your reading score is your lowest, you probably will have more room for improvement, and thus a chance to get a higher score.

I have my SAT on Nov 2. I really need help in Reading section. I am not good at passages at all, and Dual long ones are the biggest problem. I am doing good in Maths and doing 2 Essays a day, and practicing Writing section Well. What could I do to get a better and higher score in Reading Section as I am looking for score above 2000.
