I am a freshman in high school, and I am in Biology Honors. I want to take the Biology M subject test at the end of the school year. The problem is, I am switching schools after the first semester, and the textbooks cover things in a slightly different order, so I will miss out on a couple of chapters. So what is a good study book for the test? And what can I do to prepare and study for the test? Also, please state if you have taken the SAT Subject Test before.

I took the Biology Subject Test after freshman year of Honors Bio. I studied Barron’s for a month before the test. It was a good way to fill the gaps and learn the stuff that wasn’t covered in class. How good are you at Biology?

I think that using either the Princeton or Barron’s books (plus sparknotes haha) really helps. Word of advice from someone who gave it though- the syllabus can be literally anything- like I studied all the advised units (esp the complex ones) and 4 of the questions ended up being on plant root structure (like what). My friend was equally surprised haha

@Jaitaz I am pretty good at biology. I am good with math and science so that’s why I chose to do Bio.
