How should I spend my last 2 months of MCAT prep? Tearing out my hair.

I spent all four month of the summer basically going over the Kaplan review books twice. I was trying to memorize them and although I can remember a lot, I'm constantly frustrated that I don't have them perfectly memorized after so many months of effort.

So I heard practice tests were more important in prep. I was wondering if I should just buy all the examcrackers 1001, and a bunch of full tests, and spend my last two months answering questions? Or should I split it between answering questions and memorizing the formulas and facts I don't have memorized?

I just need guidance. Thanks.

Trying to memorize your way through the MCAT is a waste of your time & energy. It can’t be done. The MCAT is a reasoning test.

You need to start doing some full length practice exams. You can buy retired MCATs from AMCAS.
