How should I use the Red ACT Book?

I bought the real act book today. And i am taking the test on 2/8. Should i review the whole book before before the 8th? Like all the practice test? Because i am taking the April one too at my school? So should i save like 3 of 5 practice tests, and only do like 2? I honestly don't know how to prepare. Or should i just do all of them before, and review them again when i take the test during April and June. I did so bad on December ACT (17). And i at least want a 25. I honestly think i should have taken the February one, because i think its kinda to late to cram in 5 practice ACT's. Someone just tell me what to do :)

I’m taking it on 2/8 too, and I’ve been using the red book the past 3 weeks. usually i take a practice test out of the book every saturday and then i review the ones i got wrong throughout the week along with seeing a math teacher for help on reviewing the math. if you don’t want to waste practice tests since there are only 5, you can find official practice tests online from years ago, that’s how i used to do practice tests before i got the red book. you should probably do atleast 2 practice tests just to get used to it and see what you need to work on!

Definitely find the four other released practice tests. That’ll give you nine total tests. The only other book I recommend would be the Princeton Review 1,296 ACT Questions book. I find the math and science sections seem to be written based off old exams, so they are as close to the real thing as I’ve found. You need to be taking practice tests and then carefully reviewing every single question. You’ll be wasting your time if you just take the tests and barely review your work.

@anthony you have 10 days left to study.

If you take one section per night and a full test on the weekend you will have reviewed three full tests. That is a lot more than some people do.

Time yourself for each section. Review only what you got wrong.

Can you take it again?

Good luck!
