Hi, i've been thinking of teh subjects i'm going to write about, eventhough i can't think of anything about creativity but i was wondering if it should have like an introduction and conclusion and all of that???
thanks!

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuump

For starters, you should have correct spelling and grammar in your essays.
(Sorry, couldn’t help myself)

It goes without saying that your essay should have an introduction and conclusion (that also goes for any essay you will ever write). It doesn’t have to be a standard “intro paragraph, 3 body paragraphs, conclusion paragraph” format, but you do need some sort of introduction to let the reader know where this essay will be going, and then some sort of conclusion so that the essay has a definite ending, not just a spot where the thoughts cut off.

no it’s okay, but bear in mind that i was hastily typing that headline, after all, i’m writing in a forum not a formal letter!

Well seeing as some of the essays are 100 words or fewer, and the longest ones are only a maximum of 250 words, I feel like there’s no requirement to have an introduction.

An application essay is much like any other short essay. You can have an intro and a conclusion and have an awesome essay. Or you can have no intro or conclusion and still have an awesome essay. It’s all part of expressing yourself to the admissions staff.
