How similar is the SAT II World History test to the AP World History exam? I’m trying to figure out if it is worth buying a separate prep book for the SAT II when I am taking the AP Exam anyways.
Thanks!!

SATII World History is way more specific than AP World History. AP is more about the general trend in the world. I got a 5 on the WHAP but 660 on the first try of SATII, so I think they are pretty different in my opinion.
While the two tests contain similar information, the SAT II information is much more specific than the AP information is. I got a 5 on the AP (relatively easily) and I only received a 680 on the SAT II.
I used the Princeton Review book, and it didn’t contain too much information that I had not already learned. I had the Barron’s book, but decided against reading it do to the length and number of words per page (At the time, I thought that using it would be unnecessary).
Buy the Barron’s SAT World History Book. If you actually read the entire thing and memorize all of the facts (somehow), then there is no way that you would not get an 800. It contains so much information and contains many random facts that may show up on the subject test.
