Tx, I tried to rep you, but I have given out too many greens today. I got Jym and YDS, since nobody should be punished for being prom queen, imho.

But, to have to be nice, it’s so un-CC. A challenge we all face from time to time. ;)

TEX, as soon as I’m juiced up, you get my first vote. I think it’ll be either tommorrow or an hour from now. I’m worth 15, or maybe more now that my post count is above 3000. Nobody is worth more than Jym, though.

I hear GAmom will also work for food. :p

ETA: Tex you are somewhere above 15, I think. I’m not great with math.

It looks like you can give exactly 10 recommendations within 24 hours and fresh ones appear one by one as the first of that last group of 10 passes the 24-hour mark.

I have also been able to repeat after 48 hours, but it might require both 20 distributed recommendations AND at least 48 hours to pass.

I am within striking distance of that rather elusive second light green. These seem to require more begging. Curious that those who look more elite have to beg all the more, isn’t it?

Contributions would be deeply appreciated! :)

Doing my part to push you up to the next level, LoremIpsum. I think you still “owe” me on account of how I made you laugh on the “corrupt Ivy league admissions” thread. Show me the green dots.

Not true, but jym may be one of the most aware of the process and how it works. There is somebody out there with 40,000+ posts who’s probably worth near 60 points.

Are any of you reading the thread about Vanderbilt vs. the Ivies? I love it, because it’s all about prestigiosity–and it’s a particularly good example of how Berkeley manages to maintain its high prestigiosity level–by supporters insisting that it has it.

I also saw xiggi use the term “prestigiosity” in another thread–a very proud moment for me.
