<p>I keep trying to rep xiggi, too. I went through a day when I didn’t use up all my reps, and it made me have to wait to rep people for too long.</p>

<p>Hugs to all. This has been a wonderful diversion for me at a difficult time of year. Such fun and silliness as opposed to snark and cutting remarks that we’ve all been subject to here. <p>Thanks VaMom and confetti. Confetti, I don’t think I have gotten a new greenie lately and only 10 points away from the next milestone. On the other hand, I am not a great multi-tasker. So I am using up my greenies at close to the right time. But after a bunch of NO’s, I my be a little off on the order of who I hit when! Nice post blue, I will echo your thanks for a welcome distraction from a few weeks of sad events…</p>

<p>LoremIpsum, I’ve had very similar experiences as has my son. Even traveling in parts of the world where the US is not considered a particularly friendly nation, people always make distinctions between Americans and our government.</p>
<p>bluei, thanks for the welcome. I was here early on and you were all kind enough to give me a few bumps. (I return all bumps btw.) Someone who repped me said I should concentrate on studying instead. That sent me into lurking mode for a while. But, please keep the bumps coming and don’t fear that you are somehow interfering with my education. Carleton has a 6 week winter break and we’ve been done since before Thanksgiving.</p>

<p>I depends on the person. Most of us who have multiple dots have turned it into a game because it was a bit of an absurd idea so why not have fun with it. This post will give you the original intent, reaction, and how this thread morphed into what it is now.</p>

<p>I should note that most of us are now saying we are repping posts throughout the website that we find helpful and want to recognize and appreciate other cc members. So from this ‘game’ we have learned how the system works, when we get them, how many, how often we can rep another member, etc. We have taken that and are now spreading it into our regular usage in CC so the ‘game’ is not all a bad thing and has ripple effects. It will spread awareness I assume to some extent.</p>
