<p>I don’t think it works like that; I’d guess a system-wide update is run every half hour or hour. I never see any single additions, but then see a jump of 20 or so when I return to my computer. Also several people went to two stars all around the same time.</p>

<p>If you want to see the comments that people leave with rep, you go to the top level (I think) of your control panel. I don’t think there’s a way to see comments others get.</p>
