<p>What grade are you in currently? If you are homeschooled, how are you top ten in your whole grade? With a 20 ACT score, you won’t be earning any merit scholarships.</p>
<p>If you were my kid, I’d encourage you to consider a local two year community or junior college and then transferring. It will be less expensive for you than going directly into a four year college.</p>
<p>That ACT score will hold you back, not just from getting merit scholarships, but from even getting in to many good colleges. What grade are you in right now? There may still be time to improve. You can also consider joining the military and using the GI bill or going to school part time while in.</p>
