How to apply to live on-campus?

Keep an eye out for that e-mail! You need to make sure you have the housing deposit in by the due date.

If you haven’t submitted your $25 application fee, go ahead and do it now. If you find a roommate with an earlier date (“place in line”), they can make the room selection, and then “pull” you into the room as a roommate.

The following link has videos on how you would make your room selection:

Is there any more information for those admitted to summer B? I can’t really find any online.

I have a question on housing. At FSU they advised students to fill out the application and put down a deposit. If you ultimately choose another school, you have to notify them in writing, and you are refunded all but $50 of your deposit money.

Is that how it works at UF? (We already did the $25 thing in the Fall) If you put an actual housing deposit down at THIS point does that commit you to going to the university, or is it similar to FSU where you’d get your money back if you decide to go elsewhere?

@Trisherella Folks complain about UF’s “process” a lot…first the $25 thingie…and then below…

@herosaurus17 I think you have to do a contract for Summer B and Fall/Spring. It should all be explained in the e-mail and link that UF will send.
