How To Be Hated at CC

Ibanking elitists bug me too, but I also am bugged by people who somehow think SAT/ACT aptitude=$$$ earned. That's an erroneous way to look at things, IMO.

I know you're right. But if one cant break 1400 on the SAT, how can one expect to go to an undergraduate school that is "prestigious" enough to land one of these ibanking jobs? The connection was between the elitist industries and SAT scores, not SAT scores and wealth.

People whos user name is schismmanifesto or some crap like that. Those type of ppl are easy to hate

/****************************/

Be anti-diversity or anti-poor people who "are unqualified and take up spots for better and richer people."

Bring up a controversial topic.

People who ask, "Who wants to be my friend? Im new!"

Defend affirmative action.

Talk crap about URM and college admissions.

threaten to punch every person on the face if ever met in person per thread :-)

people who start threads as an excuse to brag about themselves.

1.Whine about how hard it is to be Asian.

Make a thread about AA so that it can gain like 600 posts and get nowhere

Talk about how your friend who got a B in Calculus BC "SO doesn't deserve to get in!!!!" and then pretend to know that all their stats were horrible.

Post Any thread like this:

Male, Black, 3.0gpa, 1800 SAT, mediocre essay/ecs---How did he get in!!!??

^ lol yes I hate all that

People who know nothing about the college and admissions process yet dole out "advice" (ie ridiculous opinions) like they're the most experienced person in the history of college admissions.

People who come in with the opinion that if it ain't ivy, it isn't good enough

People who only want to get into ivy leagues instead of pursuing what they actually want in their career.

It says HOW to be hated, not WHO is hated.

Sheesh.

LOL, there's a difference? XD

Yes, of course there is! For instance, you can tell someone Gates is rich, but then you can tell someone how he got rich, and the latter would have more substance.

Two students interrupt a student OP thread on Parents forum, just when the OP was getting some relevant, requested advice from parents. The 2 interrupters come in and stage a bicker-fest about a teeeeny tiny point from the OP.

Feels like when kids are in a parents' bedroom, all arguing at the foot of the parents bed.

^ l0l, sounds like an angry parent :p
