If you hate...

I hate people who say that their scores are "not that good" and have like friggin 2100, 34 on ACT adn rank top 10.

I hate people who say their EC's suck but they invented a time machine, found a cure for AIDS and Cancer and ALS.

I especially hate people who are mean and tell other applicants that they're "idiots" who will "never" make it into the college of their dreams in any of their "lifetimes".

This is just a thread to whine about all those kids that make us feel bad about ourself.

Hate is a strong word, buit I'm tired of posters who want good news when they don't have the stats and want people to tell them their gpa/sats/lack of Ecs will be ignored!!

ahahaha. I guess some of us need a reality check.

I thought this thread was going to be "If you hate...APPLICATIONS!" and I got really excited.

Oh well.
I guess people who are obviously fishing for compliments are annoying too.

I take comfort in the knowledge that most of the posters you mentioned have severe inferiority complexes and have spent most of their high school lives working on said time machine and cure. And in the fact that I won't be going to school with most of these perfect scorers.

Those people bother me too.

i'd rather have a social life than invent a time machine. i find that it helps to remember that cc is a very small percentage of the applicant pool, and that there are people who get into top colleges who if they came on this sight they would get the "you don't have a shot in hell at getting into this school so go jump off a bridge because you're a failure" response because they got a GASP 30 on the act.

"Life's too short to be ****ed off."
