How to enter grades on UC application?

<p>Hi I'm just wondering, my school uses the regular ABCDF grading system, and I specified this on the UC application. Since I have to enter my own grades, however, how can I enter, say a B+ or an A-, which is clearly not the same as a B or an A? There seems to be no option for this...</p>

<p>For a B+, you enter it as a B. For an A-, you enter it as an A. The UC app doesn’t take account of pluses and minuses. I think on the side, there are instructions that tell you to do this?</p>

<p>A B+ and A- are the same as a B or an A. At least until you get to college.</p>

<p>Does anybody know why this is the way the UC does their grade input? It seems to me like there would be significant amount of applicants with 4.0’s unweighted because of this lack of minuses and pluses?</p>
