How to fight the CC addiction?

Why would you need to stop using CC? If you get all your work done, then I don't see why it matters.

You can only fight it if you read all the posts and then there are no good ones left to read.

I agree with Neelesh...CC got a whole lot more depressing after being rejected.

Or there is always finding a new addiction (Like addiction solitaire on yahoo...it lives up to its name, lol)

I am pretty new to this board and haven't posted much. However, I have been reading other posts more often now, and I have to give my appreciation to the board and its members. Not only have I learned and gained insight on colleges, admissions, as well as high school life in general, reading many of these posts, many by the longtime frequent posters, makes me feel more like in a "community". Even though I am new, I am able to relate to many of the issues brought up in this forum; it is here where many of the brightest students in the nation gather and share their thoughts, ideas, and insight. I am able to relate so much to the things people say, even more so than to many of the people in my school (I don't go to a super magnet high school). Anyways, I just felt like saying thanks and will continue to become more involved in this forum in the future.

This site is pretty addictive at first, for some reasons i don't know about. Maybe just watching other's fabulous scores and records is amazing. i don't know. anyways after some time it will wear off. I used to go to this site every day, but now? i go like once or twice a week.
