HOW to figure out your DECISION

i knew i wasn't gonna get in.
still really bummed though =/

honestly, I don't think this method is valid...It seems like a lot of people are getting the "admit". It almost seems too good to be true

but would they really post up your major? and say "no sir turned in"

I'm so happy now!!! Go Bruins~!

@ unochamp:

In terms of the major, I applied to university of Michigan and they have something similar to myUCLA called wolverine access; i've been logging in for about a month now and it always says "admit fall term 09" but i've never gotten a formal letter or email.

Anyone check to see if their financial aid award is available?

so i went to ucla last summer to participate in their art|sci program and had already created a logon. whenever i sign into the "myucla" page, it just says "summer session student" rather than no access or declaration of my major.

does this mean i'm rejected? =(

Ok, we had this same deal last year.

If you can log in and see your name and major, it 99% means you're in.
If you can't log in (and assuming you have the correct login/password), it doesn't necessarily mean you've been rejected, but I'd start bracing myself.

Congrats incoming Bruins :P

so do u guys think that it says no access it means we were NOt accepted?

thats what everyone has been assuming so far ...

I'll second this, as I was around last year as well.

no access :(

Ok weird...

I checked and had "Biochemistry Admit College"

now when I log in, it doesn't say anything in the top right corner o.O

pyn....SAME FOR ME!!!!

Just logged in and it said "no access".

But I've already been admitted to Columbia early.. so... :p

Maybe they caught this website bug/loophole and closed it for now until they send the real acceptances.

@thebeef: Umm... shouldn't you have withdrawn your UC apps? Your ED acceptance would be rescinded b/c you are violating your contract...

my ucla page says " no access" but i recieved a likely letter from engineering.

i'm also oos

i hope you're right pyn

For those who have access, can you still be able to log in?

@pyn - don't worry, I emailed UC back in december twice to withdraw my app. I just guess they never got the message because I got into UCSD a few days ago (which I declined asap). So I'm finding out w/ the rest of you. i know it sucks that I am potentially taking peoples spots, but the UC is such a bureaucratic mess that I can't help it!
