How to Find My Room Assignment

So I got a single in Muir and on the room assignment I
it says to contact m roomate but I dont have one. Should I just contact my suitemates?

well normally you’d contact your roommate to decide what each of y’all would bring up so you don’t bring multiples of everything.
you could contact your suitemates to get to know them a little if you’d like but you don’t have to.

double in frankfurter! but does anyone know how to tell what floor youre on from the number?

Floors are split up in increments of 100. So if your assignment is FR-218 then you’re on the second floor.

I am totally confused, I applied first choice to a triple (way before the deadline) to save money and I got a double. Anyone else in the same boat? Not excited about having to take out another 800 out of savings. Anyone else in the same boat? I thought nobody wanted a triple and I had a good chance to get one.

I wanted a double and I ended up with a triple

which college are you in ucsd951?

I wanto contact them but I’m quite nervous on doing so. Any tips?

I’m in the saaame boat pisces8519 -_-

I am in Warren College

are allowed to change bed locations with our roomies?

ERC, Asia Hall, I am in a triple.

I’m so upset :(

One of my suitemates took the initiate and emailed all of us and sent a link to her facebook. Within 24 hours all 5 of us are friends on facebook and have been getting to know each other.

I emailed reslife to see if I could be put in a triple. Do they ever grant requests or no? It seems like they didn’t really try to accommodate student’s wishes seeing that pinkberry did not want a triple and I did and neither of us got what we requested.

If you and your roomies can all agree on a new arrangement, then yes I believe you can

@UCSD951
hey so u called the ppl and they said we couldnt change rooms? im in warren single and want to trade for either a double or triple. i also emailed the housing ppl but am still waiting for a reply

Thanks @artdancer! I will do the same!

@sarah!

There’s virtually no differences between the 3 res halls. All of Harlan’s rooms either face towards or away from the canyon.

I added all my suitemates on Facebook right after I got the assignments.

Last year Res Life actually called one of my suitemates who was living in a triple and offered him a single that opened up because he was assigned to the top bunk and is 6’5. What ended up happening though is that he HATED his new suitemates because they were all completely idiotic potheads and ended up hanging out in my suite all the time anyway. So, there you go. I guess it’s possible and it never hurts to call.

ERC people, do you know how many floors there are in the reshalls?

I was recently assigned to a triple room, but I wanted a double.
Does anyone want to switch? A triple is cheaper than a double!
