How to find out if my courses are transferable to UC schools?

Im going to be a sophomore this year, and the uc requirement says i need 2 English coourses and 1 math course. Ive taken math 100(which is the basic/regular math class freshman take). Ive only completed one english, and my second will be done spring semester.

So what im asking is how do i find out if my courses are transferable? And also, is taking my second english required course during spring semester considered a bad thing to UC's?

You can see which courses are transferable on assist.org

i dont go to a california college. I got to unviersity of hawaii at manoa.

Did you email a UC rep?

The only feasible way would be to contact the admission office at the UC you’re interested in to get in touch with an admission officer either on the phone or through email. There aren’t any articulation agreements between the UC’s and out of state universities, like there are for California community colleges that guarantee certain courses are transferable. It’s one of the reasons why it’s more difficult to transfer as an OOS student than from an in-state CC. The fastest way for you to get a response is to call or email admissions. However, you’re probably not going to get a definitive answer as there’s no set articulation. There likely to tell you that they need to see your transcript when you apply so you won’t know exactly what articulates until after you apply and have been admitted.
